Mark Behrmann is inspired by rust and decay especially in urban landscapes when he creates his works. His process is interesting because he disassembles, reassembles, and repairs his work until it reaches a satisfactory composition. This process resembles an urban area as time causes buildings to come and go, be replaced, and repaired.
