Flash Flash Flash
At work I've been working in flash a bit these days and I figured I'd do a post of two good flash websites. The first is 2advanced. They are godfathers of flash, their work is amazing though beginning to look a little dated. Their newly updated website is great regardless, they are the master of detail and seamless transition.
The second piece of excellent flash work that I've see lately is the website Life Visuals. This is a classic Flash website, beautiful, create a specific wonderful feeling and experience, but for the life of me I can't figure out exactly what they do...Beautiful site despite the failed communication objective.

I definitely agree with you. I have been a 2advanced fan for about 1 year now. Their new website design is breathtaking. :) This is a comment from a designer wanna be. lol.
I agree with you. 2advanced really capitalizes on Flash's ability to produce great animation and visual effects as well as captivating design. However, I must say their latest version seems a little more difficult to navigate. As a graphic/website designer I love to see complex animations and creative graphics, but is 2advanced taking it too far? Are they jeopordizing the users' experience with too many loading/preloading animations that deter from the entire site rather than influence it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy 2advance.com and visit it often. It's just that sometimes I want to skip the time consuming animations and get to the meat of the site without a slightly confusing navigation.
I must conclude by saying that I think their client's sites kick ass though! What do you all think?
I agree, web, flash, and interface pioneers often make their own sites so different that they either introduce new navigation techniques that are not commonly understood, or try to add so many bells and whistles that their site becomes cumbersome. One thing I do notice though, their client websites are not like this. They are much more simple and less aggravating.
