Santiago Calatrava - Architecture

Santiago Calatrava is one of the most amazing architects. I had the privilege of going inside the Milwaukee Museum of Art building he designed and it was amazing to be in that environment. You mention in your photos that this is the only Calatrava building in the USA. Not true: he did the Sundial Bridge in Redding, CA before the Milwaukee museum. Brilliant structures, both.

I would not say that was a lie... note that they said it was the only Calatrava "building" in the U.S. A bridge is not a building :).

Sidenote: The PATH Terminal at the World Trade Center, Atlanta Symphony Hall, Fordham Tower in Chicago, and 80 South Street Tower in New York are all in the works, which would legitimately kill any claim Milwaukee has as the "only Calatrava building" in the U.S., but it'll still be true for a while!
