Lure Design - Poster Design

The recent Print Magazine annual regional review was filled with indie rock posters to the point of pollution. I was at first impressed (and still am a great deal but to a lesser degree) at the beauty of the work created fro these bands. But I am now getting suspicious of why everyone on God's green Earth seems to be making posters for the same hand-full of bands. Do Death Cab for Cutie, Wilco, and Modest Mouse really commission that many posters!? They seem to be single handedly supporting an entire segment of graphic design despite their (relatively) small followings.

Regardless of my confusion and suspicion of quality, Lure Design is another design group that has some beautiful indie rock posters; though they are created for the same monotonous hand-full of bands. Take a look and let me know what I'm missing here.
