Lewis Tsurumaki Lewis - Architecture/Interior Design

Lewis Tsurumaki Lewis have created some really intriguing interiors. However, it is one of those situations in design where you create something beautiful and absolutely wonderful, but it might not match it's purpose. The coffee shop shown in the left picture below: it's amazing!!! but I wouldn't want to sit in there for any extended period of time and feel comfortable, it's too aggressive. Some projects like this seem to, at times, be a balance between sculpture and design, sculpture creating an emotion through personal form development while design fulfills user needs and objectives. LTL seems to lean their projects away from design.
