David Lynch Films

I enjoy a good David Lynch film. I grew up loving his television series Twin Peaks (come on you gotta remember the whole "who killed Laura Palmer?" thing right?), of course I was only nine years old when it was on, so I was probably oblivious to some aspects of it. His films are much heavier than his TV show though, some seem even demonic (specifically Fire Walk With Me, I'd suggest against watching it). I highly recommend checking out his film Eraserhead though. It's an odd movie, and it's agonizing to watch, but that's kind of the point. Lynch's goal was to create an understanding of the agony of commitment and responsibility.

Lynch films are generally really creepy, so if you are not in the mood to watch the equivalent to a horror movie then I wouldn't recommend going anywhere near a Lynch Film.
