Hello! I heard Louise Fili on a local talk show here, in New Haven, CT. I was so pulled in by the interview that I scribbled, while driving, her e-mail address. She wrote a book called A Designer's Guide to Italy and is working on one for Paris. I always thought I was wierd for getting excited about genius design in the most humble, unexpected places. A beautiful wrapper on a piece of french soap, colorful wrappers on fruit, the tilework on the subway walls, etc. Here's a woman who has built her life around these details. It was a lesson to me... don't put down, or disregard what moves you, or excites you...it's probably a guide post. Thanks for the site. Sonya W.

Hi Michael,
Louise Fili is one of my favorite designers. She's published quite a few books with Steven Heller.
Have you seen them?
Geri
I did not know she wrote books. For anyone else who is interested in reading her books click here to go to an Amazon page featuring her books.
